Women’s Champions League: Chelsea to face Man City, Arsenal get Real Madrid

Manchester City will face Chelsea in the Champions League quarter -finals, while weapons have been developed against Real Madrid.

Before hosted by Gaaret Taylor’s team in the second leg, the women’s Super League champion Chelsea will travel to the city for the first leg.

The winner of the former format of the competition in 2007 will host the second phase against Real Madrid after qualifying as a group winner.

This is the first time that three English teams have developed in the last 16 phase.

If arms progress, they will refrain from meeting a fellow English team till the final as they have been prepared against the winners of Baren Munich vs. Leon in the semifinals.

Chelsea or City will face the winner of the tie between the two -time German winner Wolfsburg and the current holders Barcelona.

Draw means Chelsea and City will face each other four times in three competitions at a distance of 12 days.

The two clubs meet in the League Cup final on March 15 and again in the WSL on March 23.

The first phase of the Champions League quarter -finals will be on March 18 or 19 before the WSL match, while the second leg will be on March 26 or 27.

The first legs of the semi -final are scheduled for April 19/20, with the second leg on April 26/27 next week.
