US President Donald Trump has canceled more than a dozen executive orders and guidelines issued by former President Joe Biden. This amendment targets the issues of gender, labor standards and regulations affecting various industries.
Trump issued an executive order on Friday, eliminating 18 important steps in Biden’s first four years. According to the hillThe White House assistant reports that the intention is “to overthrow harmful policies and restore an effective government.” Trump has eliminated about 100 executive measures in his first two months as president. This is part of an attempt to change the path of the federal government.
Biden’s gender and transgender rights policies
Trump returned Biden’s executive order, which encourages gender ideology in US foreign policy and foreign aid. Trump has preferred to limit transgender’s rights since his alleged return to his post. This includes the order to identify only two sexes, which deviates from a more comprehensive perspective on gender identity by Biden.
Trump went after Biden’s clean energy agenda. The Biden Administration used the Defense Production Act (DPA) to promote US production of clean energy technologies such as electric heat pumps and solar panels. Trump canceled these measures, including measures to increase clean energy, which he views as part of the Biden environmental agenda. This process eliminates the mandate to increase renewable energy production.
Changes in the quality and wages of labor
Trump has changed Biden’s several labor policies. Of these, there was an order issued in 2024 that tried to improve labor quality for federal agencies. The Biden order tried in favor of increasing wages, union membership, and better protection. Trump also changed the order of 2021, which made the minimum salary of federal contractors $ 15 per hour.
Trump also surpassed Biden’s orders, which sent money into biotechnology and bioteching. In 2022, Biden invested in the US biotechnology sector to fund clean energy content. Trump was criticizing these efforts, saying he was spending federal funds on “radical biotic and bioteching projects” in environmental policies.
Earlier in January, Trump changed the ban on Biden’s gift on the lobby when he was discharged from federal appointments. Biden’s policy also included a one -year prohibition on “Shadow Lobbying”, where former officials suggest without registering as lobbyists.
Trump’s actions are designed to restore federal policy to in accordance with their economic and political agenda. By recovering Biden’s executive orders, Trump is trying to eliminate what he considers as harmful policies, especially gender rights, quality of labor, clean energy and health care.
