Welcome to the second round of the second round of the PIAA Basketball Playoff with action in the Boys Class 6A, 3A and 2A playoffs, with girls’ class 5A, 4A and brackets.

• WPEL Runner Up Alecipa (21-5) draws the winner of District 10 in El Wood City at 6pm, Queps crushed the Vestmont Hill Top in the first round of the State Play Office, 73-40. Junior Josh Pratt scored 23 runs for Alekipa.

• District 6 Champion Forest Hills (24-2) fights fighters on the gateway at 7am, Warrior Senior Bobby Fudden became the first round of the school’s victory over the Custom Ridge, becoming the school’s time scoring leader, 72-59, as he scored 25 points.

District Final Four in 4A

The recently completed WPIL Class 4A Girls came to the Basketball Play Office Final Four to Auckland Catholic, Black Hawk, North Catholic and Elizabeth Forward.

In the first round of the PIAA on Saturday, the four teams came up and moved forward in the second phase of the state.

However, a District 7 team has been guaranteed to end its season on Wednesday when WPEL champion Akland Catholic (24-3) is against Elizabeth Forward (20-7) in Noreon at 7:30 pm.

The Eagles increased the PIAA’s first round after crossing the rock 80-29.

Senior London Crete was one of the four OC players who scored in double -digit, which had more than 20 points than the game.

The Warriors ended the Skid of two sports after the loss of WPEL semi-finals and Black Hawk in North Catholic with a victory in the state opening period against the District 10 runner-up Fairwave, 44-35.

The Crusaders reduced the 5 runner-up Finate Metal in 65-22 in the first round.

A Hockey Final Four

The 2025 Pahal Penguins Cup semi -finals are underway at the Robert Morris University Island Sports Complex on Naval Island on Wednesday as the center stage is held in the Class A Final Four.

In the quarter -finals, three top seeds and number 5 were the winners.

No. 1 Charteris Valley (20-1-0-0) No. 5 Mars (18-3-1-0) will be 6:45 pm, followed by number 2 Moon (18-2-0-1) number 3 with 8 o’clock (16-3-0-2) at 8 pm 45 minutes.
