What health experts have learned from the COVID-19 pandemic 5 years later

Plin View, Long Island (WABC) – Five years ago, the World Health Organization called the Corona virus a pandemic, and since then, that has changed.

Many lessons have been learned, and changes have been made by doctors and hospitals, but the current presidential administration also raises concern over the misery of federal health agencies, and how can this affect our response to pandemic diseases in the future.

From the long lines of testing, the horrors of the height of the Kovade 19 pandemic diseases will probably not be much true for those working inside the hospital’s emergency rooms.

“It was a lot of pressure, but we were tied together as a team and we made sure that we took care of our patients’ best ability,” said Lucas, at North Wheel Health.

Dr. Lucas oversees medical staff at Plane View Hospital in Northwell on Long Island.

They say it was very difficult to dizziness.

He said, “These were many sick patients. There were many sick patients we saw one day and unfortunately we did not see us the next day.”

In the first two weeks of pandemic disease, more than 300 people were killed in Long Island. In the first two years, the number has increased to 9,000.

The five -year anniversary of the onset of the outbreak has come at a time when federal health agencies are widespread.

President Donald Trump was in office at the time and has now regained his position.

Their administration is reducing the manpower for the Center for Disease Control (CDC), which will help in response to the outbreak.

“Hearing that there are many people who are losing their jobs,” said Dr. Adren Pope, chair of North Wheel Health, North Wheel Health Control. “The identification of this problem can be delayed and this is a big deal.”

For medical staff, many lessons have been learned.

Dr. Lucas said, “I think we have taken advantage of a lot of technology, we brought technology under the bedside, television services, remote patients, I would say that they are the two biggest things that I can think about it has a positive impact in the hospital.”
