San Francisco – The fighters have improved since the acquisition of Jimmy Butler III before the last date of trade on February 6, they have found ways to keep playing high on these rare occasions when the butler is not in the top form.
Saturday’s win against New York Nix was a great example.
When Butler slipped during his fastest shooting out since the trade (3 out of 11), the Golden State received a significant contribution up and down on the Chase Center on 97-94 on the Nixes.
After the game, the lower line in the Golden State’s locker room – the lower line – another Warrior win.
“We are winning, so I don’t care about anything else,” said Butler. “I can say as long as I am in the face. But as long as we win, I’m upright.
“The game is very easy. You just move the ball to the open boy. When you are open, you shoot it. Someone has got a better shot. You bring it to them. Everyone is doing this here and that’s why we are winning.
It is not surprising that Stephen Curry was not in the center of everything that went well for the fighters against Nixes. Curry paved its way for the team’s leading 28 points with seven wrappies and five Assists, but the game had minus five that the Golden State did not take full control until the end.
Butler did not have any horrific game in any way (11 points, six wabhonds, seven assistants), but he did not show the shine or firepower that Warriors’ fans have become accustomed to the last five weeks.
This makes it difficult.
Musa Moody scored 18 points and continued his role in his role as a star after coming out of the bench for the first three months of the 2024-25 NBA season. Jonathan Kaminga scored 10 points in his second game after losing 31 games with ankle injury. Guy Santos started his second career and added five points and seven wabhonds.
Step’s solid auxiliary cast against Knox included the Quentin Post (five points, six boards) and Gary Patton II (six points, four reabounds) and Kevin Loni (six points, four wabounds).
“He is always at the superstar level because even when he is not scoring, he is still creating for everyone.” “He draws some double teams, kicks and gives us open shots. I think he always plays at the superstar level because his presence is always at the superstar level.
“But we all know that there are playing where we need to go, and we know that he is more capable and he will do so. What has been huge for us is always the right game. He always makes the right game. He looks easy for the boys. You know who looks easy for the boys.”
This is the essence of Butler.
Blessed as one of the most NBA’s most power -generating scores, the effect of this is far beyond the box score. As Green said, keeping the butler in the Golden State Line -up has a domino -impact on the rest of the fighters.
At most nights, the butler’s shot is pure silk and will offer points through dozens. When its shot is not falling, however, it still finds a way to affect.
Six points or less three times since the Warriors Butler joined. He had the fourth meal in the Warrior’s uniform against Nixes.
The Golden State is 4-0 in these games.
This is a very encouraging and promising sign for the team trying to maintain their grip on the No. 6 slot at the Western Conference.
Warrior coach Steve Kerr called Butler a ‘connector’ and Curry agreed.
“It is just good at being in control, staying in the right game,” said Curry. “You can tell that he doesn’t really try to score so much because he is reading defense, taking whatever he is giving. Placing the ball in his hands is usually a good thing.
Don’t make a mistake, butler is the first and most important scorer, and he will do it when needed. For now, he is looking for his flow with the remaining crime of the Golden State.
“I’m not just a scorer. I can score whenever I want, “Butler said.” If I want, I can shoot the toughest shots and, no one will ever say anything. I want to include everyone. I want to take the boys in their places. When this is my time, you will know that this is my time. But by then we will continue to move the ball to the open man, take some jumpers to our boys, get them in transfer, win. “
