Welch says the proposed revenue already affects Vermont’s businesses, farmers and communities.
He, together with the business and community leaders of Vermont and Quebec, asked them to talk about how trade tax affects them.
Senator Peter Welch will hold a foundation at a round table to talk about a trade war in the northeastern kingdom.
The round table will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday morning at Newport’s East Side Restaurant.
Tuesday’s incident is in record but not open to the public.
