The organization is also celebrating another milestone, having raised £1m since its inception.
Operations manager Jacob Simpson said the money raised – which covered the cost of transporting the vehicles as well as modifying them for frontline use – was “extraordinary”.
“Ultimately saving lives, and keeping the boys in Ukraine happy and fighting for their freedom is very important,” he said.
Mr. Simpson has already been on several Leviathan missions.
“It’s a strange thing because straight away you think ‘wow, this is a really normal city’, it all feels quite relaxed,” he said.
“And then you might hear air raid sirens, you might hear a Ukrainian man talking about the war, you’d see people in military uniforms and all these things give you that feeling. Insinuates that this is a war-torn country.”
