Two cops martyred in fresh KP attacks – Pakistan

Officials said on Sunday that two policemen were martyred, while a security guard lost their lives in separate attacks in Kirk and Peshawar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

This development is a day ago in the province after many acquisitions of attacks in the province in Bannu, Mohammad District and Bajur.

According to Kirk District Police Officer (DPO) Shahbaz Elahi, the terrorists attacked two police stations and the installation of needle gas overnight. The fire was exchanged, resulting in the death of two policemen and the private security guard.

DPO Elihi told the media that the terrorists attacked with a heavy artillery, but Kirk police repelled the three attacks.

He noted that the armed men attacked Khurram and Takht Narasati police stations, which resulted in the martyrdom of police sub -inspector Islam Noor Khan.

A private security guard lost his life in attacking the SUI gas installation. The attackers were chased but they managed to escape in the dark. However, an attacker was killed.

Police also rescued the kidnapped security guard of armed militants after the shooting.

“The police showed courage, fought and disappointed major attacks,” said DPO Elahi.

He added that the situation was now under control and the attackers fled and when the police retaliated, they withdrew the mountains.

In a statement, the banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility for the attacks.

The attacker Kashif alias Jarr police wanted to play a role in terrorist activities in the area.
