Lakki Marwat / Peshawar: Two policemen were martyred when terrorists attacked a police post in Fatehil area of Banu district late on Friday night.

A pro -government commander and two of his associates were killed and at least 10 were injured when a rival group in northern Waziristan late Friday night attacked his base near Mirali.

One of them was later identified as the name of Kamal Khan’s son, Lokman Khan alias Nasrat, from the Spira district of Khost Province, Afghanistan. Officials said that Nasrat was involved in several militant attacks inside Pakistan.
The ISPR statement describes such incidents as “irreparable evidence” of Afghan citizens involved in militant activities inside Pakistan. The army called on the Afghan interim government to fulfill its responsibilities and stop the use of Afghan soil for such operations.
