Here are some reactions to democratic politicians’ comments by US President Donald Trump:
US Democratic Senator Chris Murphy said Trump’s US Gaza occupation proposal was like a “bad sick joke”, adding in a post on X, adding that Trump had “completely lost it.”
In a follow-up post, Murphy said it would not happen, but that Trump’s proposal “from the original story forcing the government to occupy the government by theft of regular people.”
It is probably safe to say that Murphy’s comment is a swipe in the campaign to uphold billionaire Elon Musk’s federal agencies altogether.
Palestinian -American Congress woman Rashida Complex described the concept of resettlement of Gizan as a “ethnic cleansing”. An x post. He also criticized Trump for reducing the federal support of Americans, while “the Israeli government is funding.”
“Wait?” Congress member Eric Solwell wrote on the X. “The United States is going to occupy Gaza? We were not promised more endless wars.”
Not all Democrats ruled out the possibility of US presence in Gaza. Senator John Fatherman described Trump’s comments “provocative” in a statement to US Outlet Politico, but added that “this is part of the conversation and we are here.”

House Speaker Mike Johnson praised Trump’s remarks, “Bold Bold action in hopes of achieving lasting peace in Gaza.”
He wrote on the X, “We hope that it is very important to need stability and security in the region.”
Richard Hudson, a US representative to North Carolina, was auxiliary: “President Trump will never work to ensure historic and lasting peace!” He wrote on the X.
And for a long time Trump Eli Nancy Mess, a woman from South Carolina, has suggested “converting Gaza into a mar-liga”, citing Trump’s resort in Palm Beach, Florida.
