President Donald Trump released a memo at the end of Friday, which has access to security approval and several former opponents, including former Vice President Kamla Harris, Hillary Clinton, former President Joe Biden and any other member of Joseph R. Biden Junior’s family.
Trump said in February that he had planned to end access to his predecessor -ranked Intelligence briefing. This was a payment – Biden did the same after leaving his post after the US capital attack on January 6, 2021.
Several individuals in Friday’s memo who have been involved with Trump at one point. Some people were already mentioned by Trump officials as people who would soon cancel their security clearance, so their participation in Friday’s memo did not come like a trauma. However, Harris and Clinton were apparently new to the list. Together, the names of names read like a list of enemies.
Two New York law enforcement officials, Latia James (New York Attorney General) and Elon Brigg (Manhattan District Attorney), both fought against Trump.
There were significant roles of the first motion brought against Trump in 2019, when he tried to strengthen Ukraine stronger to help digging dirt on Biden. Names included in Friday’s memo: Fiona Hill, a senior foreign policy specialist, who testified during the motion hearing. Alexander Windman, a Lieutenant Colonel who also testified. And Norman Eisen, a lawyer who oversees the motion.
And there were only two Republicans who served in the House Select Committee investigating the attack on January 6, Liz Sugar and Adam Kunzagar.
Cancellation is largely a symbolic action, but it can prevent nominees from going to federal buildings or recovering the content.
In a social media post on Saturday morning, Kanzinger said the action meant “nothing literally and funny.”
“What else are you, people?” He said in a simultaneous video.
“I also instruct all the executive department and heads of agency to revoke unpredictable access to secure the US government’s facilities,” Trump’s memo said. “The action includes access to the ranking of any member of the intelligence community, such as the President’s Daily Bringing, such as the President’s Daily Briefing, and the previous era of the Congress -nominees, but is not limited.”
Since returning to office, Trump has used memo as he presented on Friday to put it on people who have tried to hold it accountable or who have crossed it otherwise. The memo has been widely in the scope. Last week, he did something that drew security concerns for Biden’s adult children, Ashley and Hunter.
Last month, Trump had cleared security clearance for former Secretary of State Antony Blackon and former National Security Advisor Jack Sullivan (both of whom was once again nominated in Friday’s memo).
Trump has also taken away the security details of his former colleagues. Within a few hours of assuming power, he targeted John Bolton, his former national security adviser became the enemy. Later, Trump did the same with his former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and former auxiliary Brian Hook.
