Tiger Woods has withdrawn from this week’s birth invitation as he is still “processing” his mother’s death.
The 15 -time big champion says he is “unwilling” to return to the golf after his mother’s death, which was announced on February 4.
Three days later, the organizers of the tournament announced the participation of Woods in the event at the Touris Pione.
Woods wrote on social media, “I’ve planned to prepare it this week, but I’m not just ready.”
“I tried my best to prepare, knowing what my mother would like, but I’m still taking action on her loss.
“Thanks to everyone who has arrived. I hope I will be in a tour of the weekend and I will constantly appreciate compassion since my mother’s death.”
Woods have not played a PGA tour event since last year’s Open in the Royal Truon in July.
The US has not played regularly after being seriously injured in a car accident in February 2021, and in September there was more surgery at the bottom.
The 49 -year -old played with a teenager son Charlie in a 36 -hole event in December, and has also participated in tomorrow’s Golf League (TGL) event, which he founded.
Woods is the host of the Genius Invitational tournament, which begins on Thursday and benefits the Woods’ TGR Foundation.
It was about to take place at the Rowera Country Club, but due to the Los Angeles Wild Fire, Tory Pione was shifted to San Diego.
