Teenage girl dies after ‘quack’ administers IV drip in Karachi’s Malir – Pakistan

KARACHI: A teenage girl was killed during an alleged treatment in Malir area, police said on Saturday.

Malir City SHO Farah Shah said that the 15 -year -old girl, identified as Nusrat Waheed, complained of pain due to fasting, and her family took her to a local clinic in Chaman Colony in Lassi Goth for treatment.

He said that the clinic has been practicing medicines in the Malir area for the past 40 years, but “he is not a qualified doctor”.

The SHO said that the coke allegedly dripping a nerve for it, which worsened his condition and eventually led to his death.

The body was legally transferred to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center.

Police surgeon Dr. Somia Syed said Don The post -mortem test was taken on Saturday morning and all samples were collected. He added that the cause of death was safe until the report was recovered.

Police said the Coke doctor was not taken into custody.

The SHO said that he visited the house of the victim’s house and met his relatives, who told him that he would set up an FIR against Coke after his last rites.

Conduct four suspects after ‘competitions’

Four suspected robbers were arrested after alleged encounters in Mai Kolachi and Hassanabad areas on Saturday.
