Kansas City Chief Travis Kelce said playing in front of US President Donald Trump in Super Bowl 59 would be “very good” and “honor”.
Trump will become the first sitting president of the United States to attend a super bowel after facing Chiefs Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans on Sunday.
Kelce’s girlfriend, music superstar Taylor Swift, has previously criticized Trump and endorsed Democratic candidate Kamla Harris as Trump was re -elected last year.
Swift also participated in the Sunday game in the Supermodome, where after the New Year’s terrorist attack, security measures had already been strengthened, killing 14 people on Bourbon Street.
Kelce’s purpose will be the fourth super bowl ring ring, the chief hopes that the three straight super bowels will become the first team.
“I think this is a great honor, even if the president is,” Kallis said on Wednesday.
“I’m passionate because it’s the biggest game of my life, you know, and to be president there – it is the best country in the world so it will be very good.”
