A suicide bomber killed five people, including Taliban security forces, on Tuesday in an explosion outside a bank in northern Afghanistan on Tuesday.
Seven people were also injured in the attack, targeting a row of people who were waiting for their salary from a bank in Condo’s capital, Condo’s capital.
“A suicide bomber, who improved the explosive equipment, blasted himself,” said Jamadin Khaksar, a police spokesman in Condo Province.
Citizens, government employees and members of Taliban security forces were among those killed, he said.
“The Condoes Province Police Command, along with the relevant organizations, is working to find the perpetrators of the incident and bring them to justice.”
In March last year, a suicide bomber killed at least three people when he bombed a bank outside a bank in the southern city of Kandahar, in a contender attack by the Islamic State (IS) regional chapter.
There was no immediate claim of Tuesday’s attack.
The number of bombings and suicide attacks in Afghanistan has been clearly reduced since the end of the US -backed government after defeating the US -backed government in August 2021.
However, several armed groups – including IS – have become a threat.
