Still backward? Gender and LGBTQIA+ Scholarships in High Political Science

Does the political science research that find gender and LGBT Qia+ politics that are still presented in the highest journey of discipline? This article reviews the trends of gender research and publication in five high political science journal between 2017 and 2023 (included). I know that gender research and LGBTQIA+ research is 5 % to 7 % of the research published in high journals selected together. However, most of its research is on gender politics rather than LGBTQia+ politics. Overall, gender research and LGBTQia+ research is widely appeared in high journals when it is in accordance with the disciplinary principles of methods and the author of gender. The majority of published gender and LGBTQia+ research is quantity. Men’s author’s gender investigation is three times higher about the American Political Sciences Association’s women, gender, and politics in the research section of politics, and is also represented as the authors of LGBT Qia+ Research. This study shows that the signaling of the editorial teams has an impact in which they come down to the diarrhea.
