According to Mr Netanyahu’s spokesman, President Trump’s Middle East envoy is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel on Wednesday.
The envoy was scheduled to visit Steven Watkov, when Israeli and Hamas officials designed a new era to strengthen the current ceasefire in Gaza and to allow hostages and Palestinian prisoners to further exchanges.
In the days before the inauguration of Mr. Trump, Mr. Watkf, along with the Biden administration, Qatar and Egypt, played a vital role in brokering a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.
The ceasefire, now in its 10th day, is mostly intact, though Hamas and Israel targeted some obstacles last weekend.
