Months after digging its open -seating policy, South West Airlines is eliminating its most recognizable facilities: free checks.
Southwest announced on Tuesday that the airline would start charging for the first and second checked bags starting May 28. However, members of its A-List loyalty program or business fares will be exempt from fees.
These changes came to light after taking $ 1.9 billion in career last year after Elite Investment Management, which has been demanding leadership changes and restoration of operations to increase profits.
