PESHAWAR/Dera Ismail Khan: Seven terrorists were killed and a soldier was killed in various encounters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday, official sources said.
According to the Army Media Wing, according to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted an intelligence -based operation (IBO) in the Medi area of ​​Dera Ismail Khan. Between 8 and 9 February.

Sources said the militants killed in the operation were experts in making reform explosives (IEDs) and bombing, and they were involved in several terrorist acts. Sources said that after the operation, security forces launched a search operation in the area to search for militants’ associates.

The ISPR said another operation was carried out against the terrorists in Mir Ali Tehsil of North Waziristan. The operation gave rise to a fire exchange, during which security forces shot and killed four militants and injured three others.

Meanwhile, a soldier was martyred and three others were injured in a fire with terrorists in the Hassan Khel sub -division on the border of Peshawar and Kohat.

The kidnappers also filmed the incident and uploaded it on social media platforms. In a video, both gunmen can be seen spraying with bullets, they were killed on the spot. However, the authenticity of the video cannot be immediately confirmed.
