
Romanian President Klaus Ihuins has resigned after pressure from the presidential election re -withdrawn, which was controversial last year.
The Romanian High Court rejected the December vote after allegations of Russian state intervention.
EU supporters liberally, Iyohnis, said he would remain in office until a successor was elected in May.
But far -right politicians and their supporters strongly criticized him, who performed well in the first round of votes in December.
His criticism encouraged thousands of Romania to take to the streets last month in protest against the cancellation of the elections.
Opposition lawmakers on Monday once again launched a movement to move the president to the president’s suspension.
In response, Ivans said he would retire to limit his words.
“To save the citizens of Romania and Romania from the crisis … I resign as the president of Romania,” he said. He said he would formally stand on Wednesday.
