Parents suing TikTok over children’s deaths say it has ‘no compassion’

In a lawsuit filed in the United States on Thursday, it was claimed that 13, Archie Battersby, 13, Julian “Julian” Swini, 14, and 13 -year -old Maya Walsh, died during the so -called “Blackout Challenge”.

The complaint was filed by the Social Media Victims Law Center based in the United States by Archie’s mother Holly Dance, Ishaq’s mother, Lisa Kenyan, Julis’s mother Alan Rome and Maya’s father Liam Walsh in the state of Delaware. –

In an interview, Ms Kenne accused Tacoick of violating “her own rules”. In litigation, the family claims that the platform violated the rules in a number of ways, which could cause significant physical harm to show or advertise dangerous content.

Ms Dance said that the bereaved families were released with a “same corporate statement” in which “there is no sympathy at all – there is no meaning behind this statement”.

Ms Rome has been campaigning for legislation that will allow parents to access their children’s social media accounts when they die. She’s trying to get data from Taktok, which she believes can be explained about her death.

Ms Kenyan said she was going to court to achieve “accountability” – she not only needs to look at us, but also parents from all over the world, not only in England, it is America and everywhere.

“We want Takatok to be in the future, to help us – why stop giving us data?” Ms Kennedis continued. “How can they sleep at night?”
