NVIDIA claims that they have sent a lot of RTX 50 series cards than RTX 40. However, it failed to provide us the number.
Nvidia says better availability and pricing shares ahead and ‘ambiguous’ graph, comparing the RTX 50 and RTX 40 series delivery.
Since the launch of NVIDIA RTX 50 Series Blackwell GPUs, many people have called it a ‘paper’ launch, as consumers are rarely a safe for themselves, even more than MSRP. To date, most RTX 50 series GPUs are not available on large retailers and whenever stock comes, some units are not available, which are sold fast in minutes or seven seconds.
However, NVIDIA’s statement in recent weeks is quite the opposite. According to the report, NVIDIA claims that the number of RTX 50 series GPUs has been sent ‘twice’ compared to the RTX 40 series in the same period after the launch. In about five weeks, the graph RTX 50 series shows the RTX 40 series to be above the shipment, and it looks like a RTX 5090 vs. RTX 4090 performance graph, which NVIDIA initially shown in CES.
However, there is no number, which is why this graph is vague and does not prove its point. Instead, many retailers confirmed that the next stock of the RTX 50 series GPU would arrive after several weeks and even the largest retailers around the world had no more than a few dozen units of RTX 5090, while RTX 5080 had no good availability.
RTX 5070 TI and RTX 5070 saw a similar story, but, according to NVIDIA, it has sent more of these cards as compared to the RTX 40 series. One point to note here is that while NVIDIA started four RTX 50 series GPUs within five weeks, it released the RTX 4080 only a month after launching the Jeffers RTX 4090. Therefore, we are technically watching RTX 4090 Shipment vs. RTX 5090, RTX 5080, RTX 5080 TI.
Nodia’s Justin Walker says availability will increase in the coming weeks and prices will be stable. According to a Tweet Town report, NVIDIA has already ‘promoted’ shipments, and they are working ‘overtime’ to ensure better supply of market.
We are working not only with our AIB partners but also with our retail partners to ensure that the supply is available in MSRP,
Finally, the best way to do this is to provide more on a shelf. As soon as the supply comes under the grip of demand, we expect prices to stabilize.

We saw the RTX 5070 taking the number one place on the Amazon, but the availability is not as good as you assume. It takes a few more weeks to see prices falling near the MSRP, but matters are a bit better than the launch time.
