NC health insurance provider to stop coverage at end of June, impacting thousands

Rally, NC – Health insurance coverage for thousands of families across the state is after the announcement of a major provider that he will stop the operation in late June.

The Health Benefits of the NC League of Municipalities will end effective operations on June 30.

It offers health benefits to government employees and their families, including medical, vision dental and life insurance.

A good number of local governments is a member of the NC League, but they do not get medical insurance through the trust.

Our Witn First Alert Investigation Team has learned that, at least in the East, these are basically small parties that will feel its effects, but people have been affected.

The NC League says that across the state, it will affect about 6,500 users and their dependence, which is an additional 1,500. They are close to 8,000 people.

Witten called more than a dozen cities and cities in East Carolina, and found that Graphton, Farm Will, Palmut and Messeel were looking for health insurance coverage.

In a statement sent to Witten, the league provides more insights on its decision.

What the affected communities had talked about said, they have been looking for new coverage and have been for some time.

There are many members who are not affected by these changes because they do not get medical insurance through the trust. These include Newburn, Greenwell and Washington.
