Mikal Bridges stunned the Moda Center late Wednesday night.
The Bridges expertly removed 3 poets from the upper part of the key when New York Nixes took the Wild 114-113 overtime against the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday to expire. His shot, which was about three seconds left on the clock with two points with Nixes, was perfect. Donovin Klungan, who apparently raised a stretching hand in front of the bridges over time, just standing there looked completely defeated, while the bridge and Nixes started celebrating.
The shot was the second bridge made from behind the arc all night. He finished with 33 points, four wraods and four Assists.
The game was a fight all night. It presented a ridiculous 42 -lead changes, and Scott Handerson went into extra period after targeting a free throwing pair with only seconds left in the regulation. But, thanks to the last shot of the Bridges, Nixes are fleeing with Portland.
Handerson led the Blazers with 30 points from the bench after shooting 10-F-16 from the field. Danny Odeja added 27 points and 15 ribbounds, and Shaden Sharp won with 21 points. The loss brought Portland to 28-39 a year, and it has five games outside the final of the playoffs at the Western Conference.
OG Annobi added 23 points for Nixes and seven reabs for the win. Carl Anthony Towns ended with 21 points, and both Mail Mac Broide and Josh Hart scored 11 points. He marked his second straight victory, and put Nixes third in the Eastern Conference Standing with his 42-23 record.
Nixes will continue their journey to West Coast Road on Saturday when they compete with the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco.
