Map Shows Travel Warnings Issued for Spring Break Destinations

Federal authorities are warning people to keep in mind about the spring break, especially in areas where security can be compromised.

The normal spring break season lasts from mid -March to the first week of April. Although many Americans live in the spring instead of leaving the country, others want fun and entertainment abroad.

Why does it make a difference

The annual spring break season has long been the economic honor for many cities, regions and industries. Many people driving or flying at domestic or international locations can increase tariffs for local businesses, housing, bars and restaurants, while simultaneously helping to increase climate job.

But beyond making the parties and memories, people are still encouraged to be careful with what is happening on their final destinations. The United States and several other countries impose warnings for travel and update permanently, possibly small and violent crimes, war or other reasons.

Just last week, the US State Department issued “Level 4: Do not travel” for several countries, including Afghanistan, Belarus, North Korea, Russia and Ukraine.

What to know?

When it comes to tourism, there are four tredit systems for US government countries. Level 1: Routine precautions, Level 2: Exercise increased caution. Level 3: Re -considering travel; Level 4: Do not travel.

It is considered safer to travel some regions than others. Some, such as Israel, the West Bank, Gaza and Mexico, are marked as “other” because of being safe for some regions and travels in countries and regions.

Popular breakfasts in the spring outside the United States include Mexico (Kenkon, Keo San Lucas, Puerto Valerta), Jamaica, Bahamas, Spain and Dominican Republic (Punta Cana).

Jamaica has been listed in a level 3 consultation by US authorities.

The department says on its consulting website, “Violent crime is in Jamaica.” “Tourist areas usually see a lower rate of violent crime than other parts of the country.”

The massacre rate by the Jamaican government is the highest in the Western hemisphere. Armed robbery and sexual assaults are common.

“The US Embassy receives routine sexual assaults, including US citizen tourists in resorts. US citizens report a slow or unsatisfactory response to serious criminal incidents. When arrests are made, the case is finalized.

Bahamas is a level 2 due to crime. Spain is a threat to a level 2 due to terrorism and civil unrest. According to officials, demonstrations are common, and terrorist groups are planning tourist destinations, transportation centers, markets and shopping malls, local government facilities, hotels, clubs, restaurants, synagogues, big sports, large sports and cultural programs, educational institutions, airports and other areas.

The Dominican Republic is a level 2 because of the crime, especially violent crime, which includes armed robbery, massacre and sexual abuse, which are found in the entire nation. Tourist areas have been better polished over the past years and includes new emergency systems.

The FBI Los Angeles is encouraging passengers who leave the United States to worsen matters.

Something Indicator Include:

  • Establishing contact points for the family in the event of an emergency.
