Luis Rubiales tells court Jenni Hermoso consented to World Cup kiss

Louis Rubls has told a court that in the final of the Women’s World Cup in 2023, he was consent by Spanish footballer Jenny Hermoso before kissing it.

The former president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has been accused of sexual abuse and is trying to force Ms. Hermoso to publicly say that the kiss has happened by consensus. –

Giving evidence, 47 -year -old Mr. Rubiles said he was “absolutely definitely” that the player allowed him to kiss, adding: “At that moment it was absolutely unconscious.”

The incident took place during a medal ceremony after the Spanish World Cup win in Australia, which demanded the protest and resignation of Mr. Rubiles. He refuses to do any criminal wrongdoing.

Mr Rublus called the kiss for the Spanish national court in Madrid on Tuesday.

“Jenny embraced me,” she said.

“I have known him for many years and I kissed him because he was a champion. It was a great moment for him. We were champions, we were thanking each other.

“He pressed me very hard with the waist and then I asked him if I could kiss him and he said yes.”

He added: “I grabbed him so that he would not be back.”

Mr Rublus was questioned in court whether he had asked Ms. Hermoso or asked for a “small kiss”.

“I don’t remember at all,” he replied. “But I think it’s a bit kissed.”

He was also asked if he was aware of the protocol against sexual harassment and sexual violence, which he replied that he was aware of it.

Ms Harmosu has previously told the court that she had never allowed to kiss and the incident happened “One of the pleasant days of my life is stain”.

Mr Rubiles resigned in September 2023 after FIFA suspended it and the Spanish prosecutor launched an investigation.
