Twenty-one students from the region held at the Charleston-2025 West Virginia Science and Engineering Festival were organized by the West Virginia Department of Education on March 10 at the Charlinson Colezium and the Convention Center.

The festival included 260 high schools, middle school and elementary school students, including 190 exhibitions, including chemistry, technology, plant science, engineering and robotics.

The same judges decided to mention 46 first position, 44 seconds, 52 third places and 18 honorable Zikr.

Local places were participants:

Division I (early)

* Behavior and social studies: honorable mention, “What is your mood,” Carly Johnson, Headley Status and Maggie Shrio, Wood County.

* Earth and Environmental Science: First, “Rockin ‘aquatic reservoirs,” Riden Cyry, Jackson County.

* Energy: First, “Forcibly floating,” Charlotte, Wart County.

* Engineering: Second, “Propeller’s performance,” Kaviya Babaria, Wood County.

* Medical Science: First, “We eat nails at breakfast,” Guyana Bright, Jackson County.

* Physics and astronomy: second, “The mystical flight of the arrow,” Carter lemons, Wood County.

* Plant Science: Second, “Badge Starter vs. Potting clay,” Daniel Wasbourne, Rain County.

* Technology: Third, “Oli Dancing Robot,” Consumer Price, Rain County.

Division II (mid)

* Animal Science: Second, “Whiteline,” Evan Puffer, Wood County.

* Behavior and social studies: third, “Prizing and anchoring,” Gabriel Floyd, Wood County.

* Chemistry: Second, “Proud and clean,” Eden Smith, Wood County.

* Earth and Environmental Sciences: First, “Get the lead,” Einsley Koresky, Wood County.

* Energy: Second, “Which firestarter is better to take back packing?” Landen Russell, Wood County.

* Maths and Data: First, “Name Brand vs. common,” Emily Shaman, Wood County.
