The four -year -old rich was in the house with his family when two devastating earthquake on February 6, 2023, targeting southern Turkey, claiming the lives of more than 53,500 people.
The bodies of his mother, father and 10 -year -old brother were found in the rubble of their apartment block in Antakia, a city on the Syrian border.
But he had no clue.
Two years later, Amir is still missing. Dozens of families continue to search for their loved ones and there are at least 30 missing children.
Auntie’s aunt Narasin reached an hour after an earthquake, arriving at the falling building in Antikia and waited for more than two weeks to the debris while searching and rescue work continued.
He said, “We thought we could find it, or at least a piece of his clothing, some rest, some traces. But there was no one in the rubble nor in the bodies. “”
