Every 12 years, Kambah is often called the largest gathering in the world of humanity. And Wednesday is the biggest day of the festival. Officials have said that up to 100 million people are expected to attend the bath day. Hindus believe that bathing in sacred water will purify them from sins and will help them achieve salvation.
Believers from all over the world are participating in the festival that began on January 13 and will continue till February 26.
