Judge defends panel over Irish Eurosong choice

A member of the Judging Panel has defended it against runner -up criticism in Ireland’s Eurosong competition.

The competition was won by AmyThe song Lika Party, and the Norwegian singer will now represent Ireland in the Eurovision in May.

The song pays tribute to Lika, a dog that became the first living creature in the universe through the Soviet Union in 1957.

Irish’s leading singer Samantha Mamba, who came in second on my way, questioned the decisive panel’s credentials for the competition.

The panel included stars Judge Arthur Goronlian, 2 FM broadcaster Laura Fox, Chef and TV predecessor Donal Skyan and Bambi Thug, with choreographer and Irish dance. Who represented Ireland in the Eurovision Song competition last year.

He offered his views about every performance during the late show on the Irish Broadcast RT é on Friday night.

Commenting on Mamba’s song, Goronalin said: “It was too long to start. It felt as if 10 different demos were placed together in a song.

“There were voices, but I couldn’t be related to it at all.”

Sikhan added: “I loved the usual dining table.

“Luggage is an extraordinary part of the history of music. I think if he goes to the eurovision, there is a chance to restore it.”

Laura Fox said that Mamba “is an icon on my own, I play his music at any time.

“As we know, the Eurovision is its own animal in itself. I just think that my way to enter it can be a bit slow.”

Bambi Thug added: “I was thinking that a correction could really promote it.

“In fact, it can be further raised. It may require a new form to move forward.”

While posting on Instagram on the weekend, Mamba thanked her supporters and expressed pride of her performance.

He wrote: “The people who got him, got them … and that is not, that’s fine. This is my art, and I stand with him.”

Mamba said that apart from the panel, Bambi thug, it did not require his certificate and experience and he was unnecessarily abusive with all the finalists.

In a reply on Instagram, Donal Skin said it was “nothing but praise” for her courage.

“I think Samantha’s response is personal and it comes from a place of deep emotions, which is fully understandable than such a high stake,” he said.

“Strengthening others is never a good shape, especially when everyone involved has worked to make this process more suitable and constructive.”

Skyan rejected Mamba’s claim that the panel lacks the necessary credentials.

“Each of us was selected for the spirit of our experience, insight and Eurovision,” he said.

“Everyone in this panel took his role seriously and contacted the artists at night with anxiety, integrity and respect.”

He also defended his ability and said: “It can be easy for me to write like a TV chef, but my career began in music.

“I had two singles with my band, industry in Ireland, supported movements like JLS and the Kiset Doll, and participated in Eurosong in 2008.

“My comments were never personal.

“He was about that Ireland would have the best chance of success on the Eurovision stage.”

The other three judges have not yet responded publicly.

In response to Mamba’s comments, RT é defended the participation of four judges.

“It is never easy to offer personal opinion, because not everyone will agree with it. Our panel did this with intensive care and we want to thank them on Friday night. Thanked them for these excellent work. “
