Jersey SportsJersey Sport has given 45 athletes a total of 280,000 at the island to travel away from the island.
The government’s financial support group said it was the largest amount of sports traveling people, which is more than 9 189,000 in 2024.
This year, Jersey Sport has offered 45 travel grants to people participating in 35 different subjects, which is more than 26 in 2024 after expanding its qualification standards.
Constable Andy Jahan, who is the ministerial responsibility of the game, said the grant system removed “a significant obstacle to our players”.
This year, for the first time, individuals participating in inter -Artaur competitions, national -level senior adults and more than one chapper were eligible for a travel grant.
David Kennedy, head of Jersey Sport, said: “New smooth processes and widespread qualifications have proved to be popular and eventually allow us to better support sports within the island.”
