Four NFL’s new legends are heading to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Former Defense End Gerard Allen, former Green Bay Packers’ wide receiving Sterling Sharp, former Cornerback Eric Allen and former San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers strictly call Antonio Gates to get gold jackets.

This year, there were 15 finalists for Canton, Ohio locations. The committee can select five modern -day players, and everyone has to get at least 80 % of the vote for the elections.

There is no fixed number of players who should be included in the Hall of Fame Class, but four to eight new members have to be selected.

Allen played 12 seasons for four different teams in the league, named after Kansas City Chiefs as a terrifying pass loser. In his last season, he played most of his career in Minnesota for the Vikings before playing for Chicago Bears and Carolina Panthers.

He finished 136 sacks and 641 total tricks in his 12 seasons.

Known as a very severe player in the field during his time in the game, Allen was the focus of long -term aggressive sports plans and was the biggest task for any team to play chiefs or vikings. Allen spent 14 seasons in the NFL, known as one of the best defensive backs in the league. Playing for Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints and Auckland Riders, Alan League was one of the Premier Lockdown Cornerbacks of the League.

He ended his career with 54 interference – including eight he returned for a touchdown. Thirty -four of them came with the Eagles during their time, and they are tied to the franchise lead in the chin.

These 54 interference in the history of NFL are the 21st at all times.

He was a Pro Bowl selection and a once -of -the -art defensive player in 1993.

Gates, a basketball player in the college, enrolled in the NFL in 2003 as an unconstitutional free agent. The skill he learned in the court helped the league become a very severe aggressive threat to the NFL during his time.

Gates played 16 seasons for chargers, spreading their time in San Diego and Los Angeles. He scored 116 touchdowns, added more than 11,800 yards and grabbed a thousand passes during his career and helped new to the tough closing position.

Its 116 touchdowns and 21 Multi -Touch Downs Games have been the highest at the tough end of NFL history.

During his career, Gates made eight pro-bowls and was a member of the NFL’s all-deacted team in the years of 2000-09. He is also a multiple time All Pro and is played up to the age of 38, which is a remarkable long career in a tough position.
