Italian police have launched a series of raids to target the mafia tribes in and around the Cecilian capital, Pelmo.
The operation consisted of more than 1,2,000 officers, which the military Corbanese force said was to “eliminate” the area’s mafia.
The raids, which have been the largest for many years, were seen as the bidding of Italian authorities to prevent the reconstruction of its governing body known as Kapola.
