Israeli forces closed four main entrances to the Jinnan city and its refugee camp on Friday as a deadly raid in the city has entered the fourth day, officials said.
The Israeli army “closed all four entrances to the city and its refugee camp with dunes, stopped entry and exit,” the Wafa News Agency said, citing the fetus deputy governor Mansoor Saadi.

Al Jazeera’s senior political analyst Marwan Bashara said the Israeli government was turning its attention from Gaza to the occupied West Bank.
He said operations in the fetus and other parts of the occupied West Bank act as “deviation” from the Israeli government’s October 7 failures. Bashar added that the action also provides an opportunity for Israel to advance affiliation policies.
Since the war on Gaza in October 2023, Israeli forces have increased their raids and frequencies in the occupied West Bank, killing about 900 Palestinians and injuring thousands.
Israel says the elimination of armed Palestinian fighters in the occupied West Bank is part of its extensive goals for war on Gaza. UN Special Representative Franciska Albani has warned that Israeli genocide will not be limited to Gaza if military action is not over in the West Bank.
