Hitl was one of many people identifying as part of riots in the US capital on January 6, 2021, with hundreds of President Donald Trump’s supporters trying to stop the 2020 presidential election results. I enrolled.
Judicial records suggest that Hitl signed an agreement with federal prosecutors in August 2023, which was found guilty of entering and remaining on a limited building or basis. He was sentenced to six months in a federal jail in November 2023, after which he was released under 12 months of supervision.
But this month, he was thicker when Trump forgave nearly 1,500 people, who were involved in the January 6 riots last week after the inauguration.
According to a complaint filed against him, Hitt was in the capital with his uncle that day and investigators received videos uploaded to their Google account there. It can be heard in one of its videos that a group of people is going to the capital and “was going to see if we could enter or not.”
The complaint states that it was later identified on footage of surveillance inside the federal building, which includes the Capital Crypt.
The judicial record shows that Hitt’s uncle also signed a petition, and was sentenced to 30 months in prison, after which he was released under three years of supervision. The complaint states that it was identified by the officers who attacked the video with the flag pool on the footsteps of the Capital Building on the video.
He was also forgiven.
