What are they saying:
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy joined Governor Phil Murphy and New Jersey Congress member Tom Kane to take a look at the ongoing repair work on Route 80’s East Bound and Westbound Lane in Wartin on Saturday.
“You know, this is causing problems for many families every day. It is affecting people’s lives. This is affecting their livelihoods. We have to make sure the money is from the federal level.
“When we work 24 hours to repair the roadway, we are providing alternatives to every possible journey, including NJ transit trains,” said Governor Phil Murphy. “By offering these exemptions on the trains, we will take the vehicles off the road and provide the residents with another option to work or school, and return home at the end of the day.”
