Natasha Brokeston, CEO of selected auto parts and sales in Melvaki, Wisconsin, had been successfully running his automotive recycling company for years when he realized he had a problem. “I will get people who will come through the door,” she explains. “We were open five years and they would say, ‘Oh my gosh, we didn’t even know that you were here.’
Consumers were delighted to combine recycled auto parts’ warehouse warehouse. But a soluprinner, Broxiston, found that he needed help to get his indoor auto parts-the only black-owned black-owned, a woman owned by its kind in the country.
She was already doing many characters – doing all books for the company, accounting, marketing and human resources – but she sought free resources available from Verizon Small Business Digital to improve her business qualifications.
Brokeston achieved a total of 50 courses through program, including more than 30 direct coaching events, on topics such as email marketing strategies, branding and financial literacy. “I just got into the madness of this online training program, because I could complete this training between home or at work at work. They were easily accessible and at a straight point,” Brokeston explained.
Brookson says 1: 1 direct events in the Verizon program, which allow small business owners to meet experts for feedback, were especially beneficial, especially a meeting where it received an individual analysis of its website. Brokeston explained that after implementing the changes that promote the results of his search engine, “we are receiving a lot of calls.” “Because I set myself up for success with my coaching.”
All of all, Brookson has seen a 20 % increase in revenue every year since the launch of the Verizon program. She also shared her knowledge of email marketing, social media strategy and website design to benefit her husband Eric business, tire express. “Tire Express has been able to increase its revenue by 30 to 40 percent, by just updating the website and making the website more user -friendly,” says Brokeston.
Another great benefit, however, is the time when it saves. “With some of the education I received, I am able to reveal elsewhere. So since I have introduced other platforms and resources that I can use to use my business to operate and run, it also helped my team save time.
Brookson says, being able to share the skills learned from the program and as a successful business owner, is now a special thing about his work in his years.
“A favorite part of my day is able to bring the knowledge and experience of me – anything that will help them to be able to succeed, and help us succeed as a company, is only able to present it to the team.” Brokeston has said about 10 of his employees. “I just like to share my knowledge.”
