Hamas says four Israeli women soldiers will be exchanged for Palestinian prisoners on Saturday.
Hamas has announced the names of four Israeli female soldiers in exchange for Palestinian prisoners in another exchange agreement in Gaza.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said it received a list presented by Hamas on Friday but did not confirm the names.
The exchange is expected to begin on Saturday afternoon, after the release of the first day of the ceasefire on Israeli women and 90 Palestinian prisoners on the last Sunday, the first such exchange for more than a year.
Officials say that in the first phase of the Gaza Seas fire, Israel has agreed to release 50 Palestinian prisoners for every female soldier issued.
This shows that 200 Palestinian prisoners will be released in return for all four.
However, some reports suggest that the list is not in line with the terms of the Seas fire agreement and Israel was expecting some ordinary citizens to be included in the latest list for release.
“Israel wanted ordinary citizens to be released first, then soldiers, and then those who were considered to be extremely ill as part of the first phase of the deal,” Al -Jazeera’s sympathizers reported from Jordan’s Oman.
After the release of the three women on Sunday and the recovery of the body of a missing Israeli soldier for a decade, Israel says 94 Israelis and foreigners are in Gaza.
Following the Configure Agreement, the shutdown was closed by Qatar and Egypt and after months of negotiations in support of the United States, the fight stopped for the first time since the ongoing war in November 2023 for just a week.
In the first phase, Hamas agreed to release 33 prisoners in exchange for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons.
At one stage, the two sides will discuss the exchanges of the rest and withdrawing Israeli forces from Gaza, which is largely in ruins after a 15 -month battle and the Israeli bombing.
At least 47,283 Palestinians were killed and 111,472 were injured in the Israeli war against Gaza. On that day, at least 1,139 people were killed and more than 200 people were captured in Israel during the Hamas -led attacks.
