Another woman, Marianne Gallagher, 40, was convicted of one count of assault occasioning bodily harm but acquitted of all other charges.
His sentence was initially deferred for 12 months for good behavior and returned to court on January 6 this year.
He was spared further punishment and admonished by Lord Beckett when he heard that Gallagher had not offended the previous year.
After the sentencing, Det Insp Lesley-Ann McGee said it had been “a long, complex and challenging investigation” and she hoped the outcome could help young victims move forward.

Colin Anderson, independent chair of Glasgow’s Child Protection Committee, said the case would now be the subject of a case-learning review.
It will be led by an independent expert and feature input from agencies, individuals and families, he said.
Mary Glasgow, Chief Executive First children, externalsaid no sentence would reflect the “extreme cruelty and appalling abuse” the children experienced.
He added: “The depth of their suffering will be unimaginable to most people in Scotland, but none of us should turn away from it.
“This is one of the highest incidences of abuse in court in Scotland, but children and young people in Scotland are experiencing violence and abuse every day.”
