The 89 -year -old boy has seriously injured Germany’s six bicyclists after entering the group.
According to a German statement, a group of athletes, including the 2024 Track World Championship Medalist Benjamin Bose and Bruno Casserler, departed from a hotel in Palma, Spanish island of Milma, on Monday when they were hit by a car. Bicycling
The driver failed to see cyclists, The statement added.
Palma has reached the police to comment on the CNN incident.
The governing body said that the athletes were treated on the site and then shifted to nearby hospitals, adding that any of the people who were targeted were suffering from life -threatening injuries.
The German cycling did not explain the injuries to each cyclist, but he noted that with Bose and Cassler, Athletes Tobias Book Gramco, Max David Bres, Morts Ojinstein and Louis Gantzak were affected.
German cycling added that the country’s national coach Lucas Shelch, who was with the group by car, witnessed the accident.
Bose and Castler were part of the German team that showed bronze on the last year’s Track the World Championship In Denmark
