Apple, Pa (WPV) – Employees of Cruiser Health System Hospitals and Community Leaders in Delaware County are demanding a permanent solution to remain open.
On Sunday night, cruiser Health received a $ 20 million lifeline to keep the doors open at Cruiser Chester and Taylor Hospitals. But, it will continue for only two weeks.
The collectors on Tuesday asked Governor Josh Shopero and state officials to enter.
“Everyone agrees that we are wrong to close, and we have to come to light,” said Laura Lambert, with the Cruiser Chester Nurses Association. We just can’t stop. “
Parent Company, Prosect Medical Holdings, is currently in bankruptcy hearing.
The company announced in court last week that hospitals may have to be closed. This could result in loss of 3,000 jobs and critical medical services in the Delaware County.
“The possibility has taken over our hospitals with the promise of investment and better care,” said Kate Danny, a member of the Pasnap Board.
At the end of the week, lawyers met with lenders and Attorney General Dave to work on a solution on Sunday. The lawyer for the Prosecutor Medical Holdings said on Tuesday that the talks were underway.
There are two more status hearings in this case, one on March 19 and the other on March 26.
