US President Donald Trump will sign a long wait order to terminate the Federal Department of Education on Thursday, according to a news agency Reuters.
The department oversees 100,000 public and 34,000 private schools in the United States, though state and local governments provide more than 85 % of public schools. It plays a key role in monitoring about $ 1.6 trillion in students’ loans taken by Americans who cannot afford to pay their university education immediately.

Why Trump wants to close the Department of Education
The Trump administration, citing a standard test score, said students, parents and teachers have failed under the control of the federal government on education. It also argues that the department has spent more than $ 3 trillion after creation in 1979 without creating the success of students.
According to Reuters, this order instructs Educational Secretary Linda McMemon to “take all necessary steps to close the Department of Education and Education Authority in the states, while continuing to ensure effective and uninterrupted supply of services, programs and benefits that the Americans rely on.”
In theoretical tone, the order also must not “advance the DEI or the gender ideology” any programs or activities receiving the rest of the federal funds. “

Critics make slim moves
Critics of the administration said that the department is very important to accuse the department of ensuring high quality of public education and trying to move forward for the Republican’s profitable education model.
But Secretary McMemon defended the move, promising that the Congress would continue to fund the federal school allocated to help low -income school districts and students. Reuters also cited an unknown source as saying that students’ loans and services for children with disabilities, which were coded in the law, will continue.

‘Final Mission’
The move has tried to implement an important promise of the campaign, which Trump proposed to implement it during his first term in the White House, but the Congress did not follow it. The US president has repeatedly demanded the termination of the department, and called it a “big job”.
