The Donald Trump administration is allegedly considering travel restrictions as part of a new sanctions for citizens of 43 countries, which is undergoing an immigration crackdown, which the US president began in January at the beginning of his second term.
According to the New York Times, an internal memo divides these countries into three separate categories.
The first group (known as ‘Red List’) includes 11 countries: Afghanistan, Bhutan, Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, and Yemen. Their citizens have been suggested to go to the United States ‘clean closed’.
The second group (‘Orange List’) includes 10 countries, which will be banned but will not be disconnected. In their case, rich business passengers may be allowed to enter the United States, but not on immigrants or tourist visas. The group includes Belarus, Eritrea, Haiti, Laos, Myanmar, Pakistan, Russia, Sierra Leone, South Sudan and Turkmenistan.
The third category (yellow list), with 22 countries, is the largest of these three, and it will have 60 days to eliminate a 60 -day reduction, if they are not complied with, there is a risk of moving to one of the other groups. It includes Angola, Antigua and Barboda, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Cameron, Cape Verde, Chad, the Congo, the Congo, Dominica, Equality Guinea, Gambia, Liberia, Mali, Mali, Maratinia, St. Katia, St. Lokia, St. Locia, St. Lukia, St. Locia, St. Locia, St. Zimbabwe.
An American official who spoke on the condition of anonymity, warned that changes could be made in the list, and that the Trump administration, including the Secretary of State Marco Rubio, could not be approved.
Trump’s crackdown on immigration
Immediately after his second inauguration, President Trump issued an executive order, which requires severe examination of the security of any foreign national so that he can enroll in the United States to detect national security threats.
The order instructed several cabinet members to present a list of countries by March 21, where travel should be partially or completely suspended because their ‘testing and screening information is so lacking.’
Their administration is also sending illegal immigrants to their native countries, including India. The chain and baton of exiles has been criticized by their native countries.
