However, after Elon Musk moved to Delaware from Delaware to Texas to Tesla and SpaceX, the state is now doing its best to maintain its business friendly reputation.

“We do not want to be a protector – this is the thing that other states are offering,” said Townand. “We want key guards, but in terms of all kinds of transactions entering the companies, they have to be predicted and permanent and viable.”
