Deadly shooting that stemmed from argument outside abandoned business on Yale Street in The Heights goes to grand jury, HPD says

Houston, Texas (KTR) – According to police, a grand jury will review a case related to a deadly firing outside a missing building in heights weekend.

The Houston Police Department said all of this came on Saturday, March 15 at 4:25 pm on Yale Street.

Eyewitnesses told police that a man and a family member were posters in the business when two men, one of them identified Carlos Garcia, 27 -year -old Carlos Garcia, pulled it into a truck and said they wanted to install posters there.

The HPD said that Garcia gave an argument to both groups before raising a gun.

Police added that the other man and a member of the family got their work and left.

When the two were walking, Garcia allegedly threatened to shoot one of them. At the same time when the Garcia and the man who was exchanged, the two were targeted.

The men were taken to the hospital, where Garcia was declared dead. Another injured man, known as only a 41 -year -old man, was treated for the wounds of bullets.

The Haris County District Attorney’s office was contacted and decided that the matter would be reviewed by a grand jury.
