Cincinnati Bearcats hire new Director of Sport Science from Reds

University Cincinnati Beercotts Football Coach Scott Setter Field on Wednesday announced the inclusion of Jason Stone, the first director of Sports Science of Beercotts, PhD.

The stone comes from UC Cincinnati Reds Where he served as Applied Sports Science Manager since 2023.

“I am happy to welcome Jason Stone to our Cincinnati Football Program,” said Setter Field. “I believe that their ability to use data technology in health and fitness and translate data will keep us forward and keep our students’ athlete experience in modern place.”

What will Stone do for Cincinnati Beercotts Football?

Ohio’s hometown, all aspects of the program will monitor the complete integration of performance, training and recovery, and will prepare individual projects for each student athlete. Stone will manage all data collecting and analyzes, including the use of cataplat, which captures the movement of every player in practical and sports.

Ohio Estate, WVUs brings stone experience from football

In addition to Reds, Stone’s experience includes three years in Ohio State as well as three years in West Virginia, where he received a PhD in Applied Coaching and Sports Sciences and served with additional role -science -science -science program with Mountains Football Program and various Olympic sports teams.

Stone has also received a master’s degree in exercise physiology from Texas Christian University (TCU) and a bachelor’s degree in Canesology from Miami University.
