Children in jails – Newspaper

In prison, the children of Pakistan are often treated like adult criminals. The Sindh government’s program to educate 4,684 children of convicted prisoners in the province is a light in a dark place. The scheme-a move in the education and prisons and the Paghum-Pakistan, provides full educational support to the children born in the jail-generated jails. But the government has to keep in mind the fact that its failure as a blanket policy for all inferior children will create a dispute. Data released by Sindh prisons and reform service in 2023 shows that 385 teenage criminals – 106 of them are under 16 years of age and 100 -year -olds under 18 years of prisons. Sadly, these numbers have seen a significant increase, yet their treatment indicates that they are not seen as the nation’s child.

Children should not be in jail. To understand this, the authorities should look deeply deeply at the depths of the psychology of the prison, where allege and difficult conditions make young people into severe criminals. Poverty, abuse and stay out of school are often a serious violation due to childhood. Research shows that young children who come to the traditional criminal justice system are likely to repeat criminal behavior. For the measures to succeed, the government will have to owe the youth in the dispute with the law, ensuring the strict implementation of the Joannial Justice System Act, 2018, which states that anyone under the age of 18 has to be seen in childhood. Secondly, Sindh has to set up a remand house in every city. Currently, even in Nawabshah, there is not a long -approved work. A corrective, rehabilitation environment with decent housing conditions, consulting, skill training and education can ensure that the prisoners do not condemn the explanatory life. The inspirational minds that have come to the forefront cannot be participated in society.
