UND School of Law, Center for Innovation Partner to offer legal aid to businessmen, non -profit organizations and small businesses

Non -School of Law And For Innovation and Center He has announced that he will contribute to legal assistance for small businesses, businessmen and non -profit people. Business and non -profit La Clinic Small businesses, businessmen and non -profit groups or people will offer legal assistance to transactions, which otherwise cannot afford legal services. The clinic will focus on drafting contract drafts, legal rules, selection of legal structures and providing legal assistance in the fields of acquisition of 501 (C) (3) and other diverse legal projects. Services will be free for accepted clients. However, clients will be responsible for the court’s filing fee. If the projects cannot be accepted, efforts will be made to provide references for legal advice.

The clinic will have staff through supervision students who are in the UND School of Law in their second or third year and have been successfully completed or have currently enrolled in it. The current 3L, Justin Penny, at the UND School of Law is the first student to work with the clinic. “I am very excited and honored to participate in the first session of the UND La School business and non -profit law clinic,” said Penny. “This is a wonderful opportunity to take what I have learned in the classroom and in fact use it to help your community business.”
