Bluesky CEO Trolls Mark Zuckerberg at SXSW With Latin Shirt

  • Mark Zuckerberg is not the only tech executive sporting shirts with Latin.
  • Bluesky’s CEO, J. Graber, took a jaw with his shirt in Zuckerberg, who said in Latin, “A world without a cesar.”
  • The CEO of Meta had previously wore a shirt that was referring to himself as a Roman leader.

The CEO of Bluesky took a stage this week at the SXSW, but his message was not just about him. It was also in the one who wore it.

Jay Graber wore a black T -shirt that read “Mands Sign Seasarbus”, which is Latin for “Caesar without Caesar”. Apparently a piece of statement in Mark Zuckerberg is a digging.

The CEO of Meta has tried to wear T -shirts with Latin or Greek phrases in recent years during its wider style of evolution.

At his 40th birthday ceremony last year, he wore a shirt called “Carthago Delenda East”, which means “Karthej must be destroyed.” The phrase, which is attributed to the Roman historian Keto Elder, was a railing scream for Facebook in 2016 in his competition with Google.

And Zuckerberg compared himself to a shirt with Roman dictator Julius Caesar who wore a Meta Connect developer conference last year. It reads “Auto Zak Auto Nihal”, a rift on the “Auto Casar Auto Nahl” phrase, which is translated into “Caesar or nothing”.

Graber shirt appears to send a message about how she feels about Zak’s movements.

Jack Dorsie, co -founder of Twitter and Bluesky said in a recent Elect Of the “good company” podcast that he thinks, “people are running away from X instead of running towards Bluesky.”

Bluesky was formed in 2019 as an internal project in Twitter, where Dorsi was still CEO. Two years later, he launched the stand alone as the Public Benefit Corporation.

Its platform officially launched in February 2024 with about 3 million users and increased by the end of the year to 25.9 million users.
