Victim announces Rs 5.2 million compensation for the victims’ family
According to senior officials of Pakistan Railways, Lahore: Balochistan and departing train services are likely to resume by the end of next week after the attack on Jafar Express.
Pakistan Railway Engineers have been asked to complete the track and recover on the track in the next three days. Railway authorities in Quetta have decided to send passenger coaches and locomotives, which has damaged the attack.

“Jafar Express had nine coaches and a locomotive. The terrorists had removed three of them by the blasts, while the bullet holes had pierced the body of the remaining coaches, “a senior railway official spoke to Dawn on Saturday.
Along with locomoto, all the coaches also have bullet marks, the officials said they wanted to name them.
He revealed that “train racks (sets of coaches), including tracks, damaged due to tracks, will be sent to the Mughalpura workshop in Lahore for repair.”
When asked about the damage to the track and other infrastructure, the officer said that the 600 meter part of the railway track was damaged due to the blasts and the tracks.
According to him, the cost of damage to the infrastructure is being assessed.
He said that the engineers had started repairing and maintenance of the track after removing the rolling stock. He added that it will take two to three days to complete the work.
“Hopefully, we will prepare the track for operation in the next three days.”
The official said that after repair, the train operation will be resumed “if security agencies give us clearance”.
On Saturday, authorities canceled the departure of Business Express and Karachi Express from Lahore due to a small number of passengers. Booking on these trains was placed on other trains.
Similarly, authorities also canceled the departure of Jaffar Express from Lahore as the train operations going to Balochistan were suspended. Jaffar Express has asked the reservation office to receive a refund from the reservation office.
The compensation was announced
Addressing a personnel at the Pakistan Railway Headquarters on Saturday, Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi announced a package of Rs 5.2 million for the families of the victims of the recent Jaffar Express train attack in Balochistan, along with their jobs in their ministry.
He said that the train tragedy left the government and security agencies except for a massive operation.
He lamented, “He has become a facilitator of terrorists protected by our enemy countries.”
He emphasized, “So keeping in view it, it has been decided that the person involved in terrorism will be abolished in Pakistan.”
He said why India is running about 22 missions / consulates in Afghanistan only along the Durand Line. They are supporting terrorism in Pakistan through their local facilitators.
